Simon Tyler is an experienced executive who has held leadership positions in the investment management, financial markets, and governance industries for over three decades. As a Board Member at SFS Private Wealth, he helps shape our long-term vision and strategy while ensuring strong governance and results for our clients.

Before joining SFS, Simon served as a director and executive at several major organisations. He is a former Chief Executive of the Government Superannuation Fund Authority and the National Provident Fund, where he was responsible for more than $7 billion in assets.

He also has significant central-bank experience. For eight years, he was the Head of Financial Markets at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, leading foreign reserves management, domestic market operations, and financial stability policy. He played a key role in New Zealand’s response to the Global Financial Crisis and represented the Bank internationally on capital market development and regulatory reform.
