Dr. Sharad Nair is a seasoned private banker and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience at some of the world’s most respected financial institutions, including Julius Baer, Barclays, and Citibank. His career spans continents - from the Middle East and Africa to Asia and Europe - and now brings his unique global insight to high-net-worth clients in New Zealand.
Sharad has advised sovereign funds, global corporates, multi-generational families, and ambitious founders. He’s known for combining institutional-level precision with a refreshingly personal touch – qualities that underpin the SFS Private Wealth philosophy.
In addition to founding SFS, he serves on the boards and advisory panels of several international ventures, including investment firms, philanthropic organisations, and innovation-led startups.
